if you hold out for the right buyer, it should fetch a few thousand more. Selling at auction is risky because you have to pick the correct venue with the right buyers to get top dollar. Even if you do get the best price possible, some of that is lost after you pay the costs associated with the auction. I'd start on eBay with a "Buy it Now" for $25k and see what happens. Be careful how you advertise nationally. Overexposure will reduce the value if potential buyers think you can't get your price. Then you are simply fighting off the low ballers.
